This will help alot if it works I have an apple desk top and alot of music bought from the Itunes store, while I was able to get around the drm by manually copying the files off my ipod nano ( I don't know why or how it worked but it did ) I do like how well the home sharing works with Itunes from my apple desktop. I do with there was a native iTunes for linux, however I think apple wants to do everything it can right now to keep suppressed until it can take a larger market share of the home computer segment. Then we might see more support for linux machines.

nah, amarok and rhythmbox, both apps have a poor sound quality. Maybe Songbird or Banshee… but i want to sync my iPhone, so this is just what i need (but im still waiting for the project iphone linux!)

Would this allow you to stream music to an Airport Express adapter connected to a stereo (and control it from an iPhone) – in the same way that you can with OSX or Windows?
