iTunes 10.5.3 for Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 on wine-1.0.1 on Debian squeeze. Also did not work with wine from squeeze-backports. Running amd64 userland which was a mistake ;( like Alpha and Itanic not Sparc and Power.

iTunesSetup.exe says: iTunes Installer Completed

The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be
configured.

Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not
been modified.

Please run the installers again, or click Finish to exit.

[Finish]

Will try 64bit installer.

This will help alot if it works I have an apple desk top and alot of music bought from the Itunes store, while I was able to get around the drm by manually copying the files off my ipod nano ( I don't know why or how it worked but it did ) I do like how well the home sharing works with Itunes from my apple desktop. I do with there was a native iTunes for linux, however I think apple wants to do everything it can right now to keep suppressed until it can take a larger market share of the home computer segment. Then we might see more support for linux machines.

Would this allow you to stream music to an Airport Express adapter connected to a stereo (and control it from an iPhone) - in the same way that you can with OSX or Windows?
